Why April Is The Month Of FOCUS

For the longest I have suffered with allowing fear to stop me from trying out and accomplishing new things. Over the past six months or so I have been really good at ignoring fear and really getting my hands dirty with new projects. Only thing is, I feel like my attention is being pulled in a million different directions. And as a result, I don't really feel like I'm giving any of it the attention it deserves.

I listen to this video from Tyler Perry OFTEN about how he became successful and he mentions that he started off by planting one "seed". He believed that if he focused and watered that one seed (in reality his seed was his stage play) that it would open up other doors for him. He also mentioned that if we try to plant too many "seeds" at one time, meaning we try to launch 4848 businesses or create 49590 different projects that we won't have enough water to cover or focus on everything. And that we should focus on one seed and make it our priority no matter what. I don't know about you but when a millionaire gives advice, I take it!

This blog is my "seed" and although I have a ton of different ideas and often feel the urge to launch new products for it because that is what my pears are doing, I feel like I have been losing focus. And that focus is making sure that I am taking my time to create helpful content for this blog and making sure you are provided with the resources you need to follow your dreams, successfully.

So, for April I am not putting any focus on selling or creating anything new (besides my mentor program but that technically won't start until May). I wan't to put my whole heart into better blog posts and becoming a better FREE resource to you. If it wasn't for this blog I would never have started any of my coaching services or created the Ultimate Business binder or have a million other ideas and plans for where I want to take this place. But I know before I move forward I have to make sure what I have already established is solid!

I can be extremely hard on myself sometimes and I'm sort of afraid to not focus on the sales aspect for this blog but I know it will all be worth it in the end. And that taking time out to listen to what you guys really need will help me in the long run. Its a marathon not a race!

And lastly, I am all ears! If there is a topic pertaining to business or blogging that you really would like some answers on, Im all ears! This space is for you so I want to make sure I am giving you what you need!

P.S If you need a pick-me-up, seriously listen to this Tyler Perry video!
