Remember last week I talked about how I was not only going to get out of my comfort zone and face my fears BUT I was also going to try and figure out what exactly my style is as I get ready to enter my 26th year of life? Well this is my first post about that! For the past few months I have been filling up my Style Pinterest board in hopes of getting ideas of the types of items I would feel comfortable wearing and things that look like a 26 year old. In the process of all of that I have discovered a few very fashionable ladies that I now
stalk love because I feel like their style is effortless with out spending crap loads of money.
Sheryl of Walk In Wonderland
Ya'll everything this gorgeous lady wears is seriously perfect. She always manages to make simple pieces like a tee shirt and jeans look so chic! Coming from the girl who literally has spent the past 25 years in jeans and a tee, I take notes every time I visit her blog.
Mary of Happily Grey
I discovered Mary's blog a couple of months ago and have fallen in love with her style! I also love how she describes her style as "unplanned" because I rarely put too much thought into what Im going to wear.
Folake of Style Pantry
I admire Cara's style because it is always so casual and a little bohemian. I also adore the fact that her son is just as well dressed as she is!
See a pattern here? I'm a simple girl so jeans and a tee will always be my go to outfit. I'm hoping through my journey in all of this that I will find more ways to dress up things that I am comfortable in and that I already have in my closet.
Who are your style crushes?
Ok enough style talk! I have a lovely blogger to introduce you to today, Caroline of Some Call Me CJ. She is not only beautiful on the outside but also has such a beautiful and sweet heart! Get to know more about Caroline below!
What do you love most about blogging?
I love the unique sense of community. I never knew this was like, another world, until I got into it. There is so much constant inspiration and everyone is striving for a sense of positive, healthy living, which is awesome. I learn something new every day.
Its 2pm on a Saturday afternoon, what is keeping you occupied?
Normally, I would be working. I have spent the last two and a half years working at Apple, which means weekends were not free. However, I just had my last day (woot!) and will begging a fellowship and teaching career very soon. That being said, what do people do on weekends? I’ve never had one before!
If you could take over anyone's blog for a day, who's would it be?
OH! Do I have to pick just one?! I love Emorie over at Oh Whimsical Me and Melyssa at The Nectar Collective But, I also love The Alisha Nicole! Lowkey, I would love to take over this place right here!
If someone could only get to know you through one of your blog posts, which post would it be?
I’d have to say this one. Ten Things I Like About Myself.
