THE LOCALS: Civic Threads
Last weekend I had the pleasure of going out to Civic Threads open house event in downtown Greensboro. Civic Threads is a local boutique that focuses on selling consciously made clothing and locally made crafts. And let me tell ya'll the items they carry are EVERYTHING! Especially the cute pair of Raleigh Denim jeans they have that I'm currently saving up all of my coins to be able to afford. The entire night the boutique was packed with people walking in to shop around, listen to live music and enjoy beer and snacks (I need the number to whoever made those cookies!). What I love most about Civic Threads is the comfortable vibe the store gives off. The entire time shoppers seemed to be very relaxed as they shopped around and mingled with each other on the couches located in the middle of the store. And the fact that they sell locally made items warms my heart. I love when a business appreciates the things that are made right in their own backyard.
I had a great time and will definitely be popping back in soon! If you are in the Triad area be sure to go downtown and check them out and if you don't live in the area, check them out online!
Thank you so much to Anna of Flawlessly Flawed for inviting me!
