My Natural Hair Care Essentials

I said I wouldn't talk about my natural hair care obsession a lot on this blog because I could go on for days. And this here bloggy could easily slip into being a natural hair care blog. But I've had a few people ask me what products I use, so I figured I'd share the products my hair can not live without.

natural_hair_care_essentials_4Out of all of the money I've spent in finding the right products, I've been lucky enough to have found them all in one place. Target, of course.

I just would like to take a moment to THANK Garnier Fructis for making this amazing product! Summers in NC are hell on my hair because of the intense humidity. Their Anti-frizz serum makes it possible for me to be outside for more than 10 mins without turning into a puff ball.

I've been using the Pantene Truly Natural hair care line for years! Every time I try another brand of shampoo and conditioner I always end up right back to this. It leaves my hair extremely soft and it makes my hair smell so good. The conditioner isn't heavy on my hair which is another thing I love. If you get relaxers they also have a Relaxed hair line.

For my curls, I use Shea Moisture Curl and Style Milk. It's light and makes my natural curls more defined and very soft. A lot of other curling products I've used in the past makes my hair "crunchy", almost like gel.

My essentials are pretty simple and affordable. My sister recently bought me the Miss Jessies Pillow Soft Curls product which makes my curls gorgeous, but its pretty pricey. A whole $22. What are some of your favorite hair care products?
