Today was probably the first day that I have been told "NO" when it comes to something dealing with Eclectic Star. I emailed some one about potentially hosting a giveaway of a few of my accessories on their website. Of course me being me, knowing how awesome my products are and how well crafted the email was I didn't expect anything less than a reply filled with excitement. But that's def NOT what I got. I received a reply simply stating "I'll have to pass" along with things that they were looking for and how I could improve. Now immediately being human, I got upset like "what?!..what the hell you mean you gotta pass?!" But then I thought about it, I could either allow myself to get upset and let it ruin my day or I can take it as a learning experience. For one, I have to remember not everyone will love what I do like I love what I do..and that's perfectly fine, this world is filled with people who will love it as well. And two, they didn't actually come out and say they didn't like my products it just wasn't what they were looking for for their site and that's cool too,i'll take the tips that were given to me and run with it.
Moral of the story kids, don't let the word "NO" stop you. Although it hurt me a little, i'm almost positive it will happen again through my journey. I'l just keep learning from it :)
